Pebb News Feed – Complete Guide to Team Communication & Updates

The central communication hub for your team space. Post updates, share media, create polls, acknowledge messages, and engage with your entire team in real time.

What Is the Pebb News Feed?

The News Feed is the heart of every Pebb Space — a real-time, social-style communication hub where teams stay informed, engaged, and aligned. Whether you are managing a single store branch, a remote team, or a multi-location enterprise, the News Feed gives every team member a shared voice and a single place to stay connected.

Accessible at app.pebb.io, the News Feed lives inside each Space. A Space is a dedicated environment for a specific group of people — such as a department, a store branch, or a project team. Within that Space, the News Feed acts as the primary communication layer.

Creating a Post

To create a post, click the text input at the top of the News Feed that reads "Share anything from big news to daily updates." This opens the Create Post dialog with the following capabilities:

Text Content: Write plain text updates, announcements, policy reminders, congratulations, or any message you want the team to see.

Rich Text Formatting: The post editor supports bold text, headings (H1), hyperlinks, and other formatting to make your posts clear and professional.

Emoji Picker: Add emojis to your posts using the emoji picker in the formatting toolbar.

Image Upload: Attach one or more images directly to a post — useful for product photos, event photos, training materials, or infographics.

Video Embed: Embed video content into your posts for training videos, team shoutouts, or visual announcements.

File Attachment: Attach documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, or other files directly within a post so team members can download what they need without leaving the feed.

GIF Support: Insert animated GIFs to keep communication fun and expressive.

Create Poll: Add an interactive poll within your post to collect votes from team members. Poll results display in real time, and you can configure whether votes are public or anonymous.

Schedule Post: Use the Schedule Post feature to write your content now and set a future date and time for it to be published. Ideal for managers who prepare weekly announcements in advance or want to align posts with specific shifts or time zones.

Set as Important: Mark a post as important to visually distinguish it from regular updates. This is ideal for urgent announcements, policy changes, safety reminders, or critical updates.

Silent Post: When enabled, Silent Post publishes the content without triggering push notifications for team members. Useful for non-urgent updates that do not require immediate attention.

Submit Post: Click Submit Post to publish to the Space feed instantly (or at the scheduled time if you have set one).

Engaging with Posts

The News Feed is a two-way communication channel. Team members can engage with every post:

Reactions: React to any post with emoji reactions such as heart or thumbs up. Reactions are visible to all members, showing who reacted.

Comments: Each post has a comment thread. Any team member can type a comment to ask a question, provide feedback, or contribute to the discussion. Comments support GIFs and emoji.

Reply: Within a comment thread, members can reply directly to a specific comment, creating nested conversations.

Acknowledge Button: Important posts include an Acknowledge button. When clicked, it confirms the team member has read and understood the message. The post then shows how many people have acknowledged it (e.g., "Acknowledged by 3 people"), giving managers visibility into who has seen critical information. This is a powerful feature for compliance, safety briefings, and policy updates.

Bookmarking Posts

Every post has a Bookmark icon. Click it to save a post to your personal bookmarks for quick reference later. This is useful for pinning important information like schedules, policies, or resources.

Bookmarked Posts View: Access all your saved posts by clicking the bookmark icon in the feed header.
