Think of Pebb as the one app that replaces five others.
💬 Chat & Call— Talk to teammates one-on-one or in groups.
🗞️ News Feed — Stay updated with company announcements, photos, and polls.
📋 Tasks — See what needs to be done and mark things complete.
📅 Shifts & PTO — View your upcoming schedule or request time off.
🗂️ Wiki & Files — Find policies, guides, and training materials all in one place.
Everything your team needs to communicate, operate, and engage — all in one app.
🧩 1. Spaces — Where Work Happens
Spaces are where your team communicates, collaborates, and stays organized.
Each Space includes tools like News Feed, Tasks, Wiki, Files, Shifts, Photos, Links and more — all in one shared place.
You’ll automatically join Spaces that match your team or branch, but you can also create your own Spaces for any purpose — from projects and training to social groups or fun ideas.
Examples of Spaces you might see or create:
Everyone — for company-wide news and updates
Team Space — for daily work and coordination
Training Space — onboarding or learning materials
Fun Space — News feed with polls, shoutouts, and off-topic moments
Think of Spaces as flexible hubs — each one can include just the tools your group needs.
💬 2. Chat and Stay Connected
Use Chat for quick communication — message your teammates directly or join group chats like Team Chat, Managers, or Front Desk.
You can:
Send text, photos, files, and emojis.
Start voice or video calls right from chat.
Mute or pin conversations so you don’t miss what’s important.
💡 Tip: Use chat for fast updates (“I’m on my way!”), and the News Feed for bigger moments everyone should see.
🗞️ 3. News Feed — Your Team’s Updates
The News Feed is your company’s home for announcements, polls, and celebrations.
Here you’ll find everything from shift updates and new policies to fun posts and shoutouts.
You can:
Like and comment on posts.
Answer polls and surveys.
Upload photos or share updates of your own (if your admin allows posting).
📅 4. Shifts, PTO & Events
Check your upcoming Shifts right inside Pebb — no paper schedules or separate apps.
You’ll get instant notifications when new shifts are posted or changed.
You can also:
See upcoming Events like meetings or celebrations.
Submit Time-Off (PTO) requests if your company has enabled it.
💡 Tip: Need to trade or discuss a shift? Use your team chat to coordinate quickly.
📋 5. Tasks
Your manager may assign tasks inside your Space — like daily checklists, cleaning duties, or delivery confirmations.
You can:
View all assigned tasks in one list.
Create new public or private tasks.
Mark tasks as done once completed.
🗂️ 6. Wiki & Files
The Wiki and Files sections are where important company resources live.
You’ll find:
Company policies and guides.
Training materials or onboarding content.
PDFs, videos, and other files your manager shares.
👥 7. People & Profiles
The People tab is where you can see everyone in your organization.
You can open any profile to see a teammate’s role, department, and contact info.
You can also edit your own profile — add a photo, set your role, and list your manager.
It helps everyone put a face to a name (and makes the app feel more like your team).
💡 Tip: Keep your profile photo up to date — it helps new teammates recognize you quickly.
📸 8. Keep the Culture Alive
Pebb isn’t just for work — it’s also for sharing moments that make work fun.
Use the Photo Albums or Feed to:
Post team pictures or behind-the-scenes moments.
Celebrate wins or birthdays.
Share something positive from your day.
🔔 9. Notifications & Privacy
You’ll automatically receive notifications for new messages, posts, or shift changes.
By default, Pebb sends:
Push notifications on mobile
Email updates for important mentions
You can control them anytime:
Mute a Space (click the three dots → Mute notifications)
Mute a chat (click the info icon → Mute)
Your contact info (email or phone) is private by default.
Admins can choose whether it’s visible to others.
🚀 Getting Started in 3 Steps
1️⃣ Download the Pebb app on your phone (iOS or Android).
2️⃣ Join your Spaces — you’ll see the ones that match your team or branch.
3️⃣ Say hello! Post a quick message in chat or comment on the latest update in the News Feed.
