The Shifts feature in Pebb helps teams plan, assign, and track work schedules — all in one shared place. You can set up daily, weekly and monthly schedules, manage different teams or branches, and keep everyone updated automatically.

📅 What You Can Do with Shifts
The Shifts feature is built to make scheduling simple, flexible, and transparent. Here’s what you can do:
Create weekly or monthly schedules for any Space or team.
Assign employees to specific shifts — they’ll get instant notifications.
Add shift details like start and end time, role, or location.
Create open shifts that employees can claim themselves.
Add unpaid breaks directly inside each shift.
Make shifts repeat automatically by day, week, or month — saving time on recurring schedules.
Export a detailed report with all employees’ shifts and total hours to help calculate pay accurately.
Notify everyone or specific employees when publishing a new week’s schedule or an updated shift.
See all shifts at a glance in a clean, color-coded calendar view.
Edit, move, or delete shifts with a single click — everything updates instantly for the team.
💡 Tip: You can add Shifts to any Space, so each team can manage their own schedule independently.
👥 Who Can See Shifts
By default, everyone in a Space can view all the shifts created inside it.
If you want to keep planning private, you can create a private Space and invite only the people who need access.
🔔 Notifications
Whenever a new shift is added, changed, or deleted, the affected employees are notified right away — both on mobile and email (if enabled).
Admins can also send a “New Week Schedule” notification manually to remind teams to check their shifts.
🧭 Where to Find Shifts
Go to the Space where scheduling happens (like “Kitchen Staff” or “Front Desk”).
Click the Shifts tab at the top.
View by week or month, or filter to see only your assigned shifts.
